Washing and Drying Equipment

Steam heating coils built to the machine duct, in series with a Japanese equipment maker

Steam heater installed in a drying line

What the application demands

RequirementWhat it means in the design
Fast heat-up and stable temperatureDrying efficiency depends on hot air temperature and how quickly the coil reaches it.
Compact internal spaceThe coil has to follow the duct and must not take space from other components.
Continuous operation and reliable sealingCommercial and industrial washing equipment runs long shifts. A steam-side seal failure stops the line.
Batch consistencyEquipment makers build in batches and need coils that perform consistently and can be interchanged.

Our approach

We join the equipment development, build the coil to the duct and installation space, and validate heat-up performance and seal reliability on a prototype before series supply. Process and inspection are held consistent across batches.

  • Coil shape, row arrangement and connections built to the duct section and space
  • Steam-side drain points set to avoid water logging and water hammer
  • Prototype validation of heat-up speed and temperature uniformity
  • Fixed tooling and inspection for batch-to-batch consistency

Design highlights

  • Carbon steel tube with aluminium fins balances heat transfer and cost
  • Fin geometry optimised to limit dust build-up in continuous drying
  • Structure and surface finish meet the inspection requirements of foreign equipment makers
  • Dimensions matched to the internal space of the drying machine

Project status

Product development and endurance testing are complete. The coil is in stable series supply for tunnel washing and drying lines.

FAQ

Can the coil shape be built to the machine?
Yes. Send the duct section, installation space and pipe connection positions, and we build to those constraints.
What steam pressure and temperature can you handle?
Designs are available across normal industrial steam pressure ranges. The actual selection is checked against the site steam data.
How is batch consistency controlled?
Fixed tooling, process parameters and inspection items are used so that equipment makers can interchange coils between machines.

Can this duty be built for our machine?

Send the medium, working conditions and installation envelope for an assessment.
